Strangers in the night

Does it occur to you sometime when you walk around in a crowded market area or a crowded mall that one of these people would have already crossed your path before?
Does it occur to you that we live in such a world of ignorance that we don’t know who are around us? But then, there are also times when you look up and strike up this one crazy eye connection with the other person.It could be flirtatious. It could be lustful. It could be intrigue. It could be something out of accident.
But there is one line of gaze that you maintain with this person. And the relationship you share with this person could be just less than 10 seconds. And that’s it. They disappear from your life. And that will be the end of your relationship with that person. It’s something like a short romantic love affair. It’s the kind of relationship most men would want to have. The type that ends soon without any nasty conclusions. But does it ever occur to you that maybe he would have crossed your path again? I keep thinking what it would be like to fall in love with one stranger like that? What if the person you are with now.... is a person that you would have crossed paths with? It’s quite an irony when you think about such crossed paths? These forbidden paths of coincidence.
